RSCM Celebration Day


The 2013 RSCM Celebration Day service takes place next Saturday, 25 May, at 4.30pm in St Mary's Episcopal Cathedral in Edinburgh.  The cathedral choir, RSCM Scottish Voices, and RSCM Young Scottish Voices will join with massed choirs to celebrate the work of the RSCM world-wide, and awards are presented to many people from all parts of the globe for their contributions to the work of the RSCM.

The conductor of the massed choir will be Andrew Reid (Director of the RSCM), with Matthew Beetschen conducting some of the music. The organist is Donald Hunt, Assistant Organist at the Cathedral, and the service will be led by the Vice Provost, The Revd Canon John McLuckie.

Dr June Nixon - organist, choir trainer and composer, formerly Organist and Director of Music at St Paul's Cathedral, Melbourne, Australia

Mr David Iliff is also awarded Associateship of the RSCM, but is unable to be present at this service
